Description
●Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
●Previous work experience with application and software development.
●Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
●Salesforce product knowledge and at least 1.5 - 2 years of Salesforce development experience
●Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce
●Working knowledge of mavensMate or eclipse.
●Familiar with Salesforce Classic and Lightning
●Exposure and understanding of at least one of Sales Cloud , Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud applications
●Application Integration experience, API’s and pre-built SFDC integrations
●Good communication skills.
●Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
Desirable:
●Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I,
●Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Developer
Responsibilities
●Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
●Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
●Creating timelines and development goals.
●Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements,
●Working with integrated applications such DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Mailchimp etc
●Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Assist with each release cycle to
implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code,
●Testing (unit and systems), and debugging,
●Striving towards coding best practices and data quality,
●Supporting the Salesforce Administrator
●Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
●Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff.
●Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
